Responsibilities

Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality in all offerings
Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage practices
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely serving of meals
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills and knowledge
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with health regulations
Contribute to menu development by suggesting innovative dishes and seasonal specials
Uphold high standards of hospitality through excellent service delivery
Qualifications
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a gastropub setting
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively
Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Leadership qualities with a focus on team management and motivation
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant roles is highly desirable
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
