About the Warehouse & Production Operative job
The purpose of your role is to help the manufacturing process by running machinery, monitoring product quality, and keeping hygiene standards to ensure steady production.
Key tasks
Drive a forklift truck for picking and packing and unloading of lorries and operate production machinery and equipment to meet daily targets.
Conduct quality checks (weight, temperature and visual), process orders onto ERP systems and maintain accurate production records ensuring traceability for auditing.
Always comply with health and safety and high standards of cleanliness preventing contamination.
Support continuous improvement initiatives (reduce waste, improve line efficiency); contribute ideas and implement agreed changes.
Contribute to meetings and daily briefings.
About You
The successful candidate shall have experience within an FMCG environment - ideally food manufacturing.
A counterbalance FLT Licence is essential.

The Warehouse & Production Operative job (ref:9006) is paying £24,000 to £28,500 per annum according to your experience.
The site is in Essex and commutable from Halstead, Braintree, Manningtree, Colchester and surrounding towns.
The package includes 21 Days Holiday, Enhanced Sickness Pay, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing and Engagement events, on site MHFA, Training & Development, Flu Vouchers, VDU Vouchers, Holistic People Policies, Gym Membership, Multi Faith Room, NHS Healthcare Checks, Referral Scheme.
