Cleaner – Education Environment (Temporary)
Location: Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 7AN
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:15 – 18:15 (15 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary – approximately 4 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
We are recruiting a Cleaner to work within a school / education setting in Buxton. This is a temporary role covering a vacant post, expected to last around four weeks.
Duties include:
Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
Mopping, vacuuming, and general surface cleaning
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Following all health & safety and safeguarding procedures
Mandatory requirements (education environment):
Enhanced DBS check with barred list (essential)
Proof of address
National Insurance number
3 years’ references
Right to work in the UK
Overseas police check (if applicable)
Ability to work reliably during afternoon hours
What’s on offer:
£12.21 per hour (PAYE)
Consistent Monday to Friday hours
