Are you a results driven Account Manager with B2B experience? Are you looking for a position that offers a genuine opportunity to influence processes, strategy, and long-term success within one of the leading B2B marketers in the UK? Then this could be your next exciting step, you will be one of two Account Managers helping to build and shape a brand-new account management function.

Holt Engineering is recruiting an experienced Account Manager to join a newly established team at our client’s Poole offices. This is a proactive, office-based role centred on developing sales within an existing B2B customer base while reactivating previously engaged accounts.

The role is solely office based, working Monday to Friday, the salary is £30-35k DOE

Key Responsibilities for the Account Manager will include the below:

- Strengthen relationships with existing B2B customers to increase engagement and repeat business, managing a portfolio
- Monitoring low activity accounts as well as reconnecting with lapsed customers to rebuild consistent ordering
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue within established customer sectors
- Develop newer accounts to maximise long-term value
- Target new prospects using insights from high-performing customer profiles
- Support new customers post-sale to encourage repeat orders and smooth onboarding
- Use CRM systems and sales data to plan activity and track customer behaviour
- Work closely with leadership to share market feedback and support sales strategy improvements

Experience needed for the Account Manager role:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a B2B outbound sales
- Must have experience selling actual products and not services
- Proven ability to retain, develop, and grow customer accounts, demonstrated by revenue made in previous roles.
- Excellent IT skills and ability to use CRM systems quickly and efficiently
- Comfortable handling both outbound and inbound calls as well engaging with senior stakeholders, comfortable negotiating on the phone.
