Vico Homes is built on the foundations of WDH. We are looking for a Support Team Supervisor to join our Property Investment Team.
A home is more than four walls and a roof. It should be a safe place. A place to start things. A place of opportunities. A place to grow. A place where you feel you belong.
These are the places we provide for today and for the future. This is what marks us out as one of the leading players in the social housing sector. We have over 32,000 homes across the north of England, home to tens of thousands of people. And people are at the centre of what we do.
Our people are approachable and professional. But we’re not afraid to be optimistic and show our passion for what we do to support our customers. We share a common vision, acting confidently to ensure we remain at the forefront of making it happen.
Together, we’re building better futures and vibrant communities.
About the role
As the Support Team Supervisor your manager will be our Business Planning Officer. You will work 37 hours a week on a fixed term temporary basis for up to 12 months, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area based our Head Office in Castleford.
As the Support Team Supervisor you will lead and support our Support Officers, helping them deliver high‑quality, accurate and efficient work while creating a caring, confident and united environment where people feel supported and able to perform at their best.
It is an exciting time to be joining us and here are some of the initiatives that you will be involved in:
*Helping us deliver over 1,000 new kitchens and bathrooms for our customers across the district.
*Supporting the programme to provide new roofs to hundreds of homes, ensuring our properties are safe, comfortable and well maintained.
*Contributing to improvements in systems, processes and workflows to help the team work smarter, not harder.
What you’ll do
*Support and supervise our Support Officers, ensuring wellbeing, clarity and high performance across the team.
*Quality‑assure information, reports and system records so everything is accurate, reliable and easy to understand.
*Act as a trusted point of contact for our site‑based colleagues, helping them access the information and support they need.
*Keep work flowing efficiently by planning, organising and monitoring daily activity to maintain high standards and meet deadlines.
*Produce clear, accurate minutes for contractor and operational meetings, ensuring actions and responsibilities are captured confidently and professionally.
What we’re looking for
*A Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience, and confidence using IT systems and Microsoft Office.
*Experience working in a busy, customer‑focused environment, supporting others, coordinating tasks and improving processes or ways of working.
*Strong attention to detail, proactive and adaptable, with excellent communication skills, the ability to support wellbeing, take ownership, minute accurately and live our Vico values.
For more details on what we’re looking for in this role, please see the Job Description on our website.
For more information or an informal chat about the role or working for Vico Homes, please contact Eleanor Wainwright, Business Planning Officer on ewainwright@vicohomes.co.uk.
Please note: Interviews will take place in the week starting 16 February 2026.
