What skills and experience we're looking for

Teaching Assistant Level 2 - 35 hours per week

Monday to Friday 8.30am 4:00pm with 30 minutes lunch

Temporary due to SEN Funding for a pupil in KS1 and will terminate earlier should the funding be withdrawn, or the child leaves the school.

Required for ASAP

Our Governors are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible and highly skilled Teaching Assistant, who has experience of working with children with additional needs. This role will involve supporting children with SEND inside and outside the classrooms, a strong understanding of SEMH and ability to remain calm and supportive is essential.

You will:

• Uphold the strong Christian ethos of the school
• Be passionate about helping children learn
• Have experience and are able to support children with SEN including ASD and SEMH
• Be an excellent communicator
• Have good personal numeracy and literacy skills and has an awareness of the school curriculum.
