What skills and experience we're looking for

The Priory Academy LSST, one of the UK’s top performing state schools, is looking for a Learning Strategies Assistant to join our exceptional staff body. You would join a team who are rightly proud of our Academy’s outstanding academic track record but prouder still of the vibrant, supportive and ambitious culture to which we all contribute and foster.

Our Learning Strategies Assistants plays a vital within our academy. The role will involve supporting the Head of Learning Strategies in matters concerning the students with specific academic needs and social adjustments as well as carrying out observations to support and monitor student progress.

The successful applicant will have experience working with students and have knowledge and understanding of student intervention techniques. GCSE Maths and English grade A-Cor equivalent and a Level 2 IT qualification or have experience is essential. An NVQ level 3 qualification or working towards is desirable.
