What skills and experience we're looking for
For September 2026, we are looking for a Head of Lower School to lead and manage the pastoral teams in Years 7, 8 and 9.
Each Year Team consists of one Senior Head of Year, one Head of Year (both teaching staff) and a non-teaching Pastoral Co-ordinator. Each Year Team leads and supports the 300 students in their year group.
You will be:
• an experienced, exceptional and innovative teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning and is committed to excellence and high student achievement
• a professional with a passion for working with young people and a perseverance to make a difference to them and their future
• a teacher with a range of pastoral experience
• a teacher with a focus on their own professional development and a drive to work with us to become the best teacher they can be
