What skills and experience we're looking for
We have a post at our school following a teacher changing schools and training to become a SENCO.
We are looking for an ambitious part-time experienced teacher to teach in our Year 5/6 class. We are looking for someone with a caring and nurturing approach for our lovely village school. Everything we do is focused on giving every child the best start in life.
We provide an excellent learning environment where everyone is valued and encouraged to achieve their very best. We offer a fun and stimulating curriculum that is enriched by exciting educational visits and learning opportunities. Our vision is to be successful, confident and caring.
We are looking for an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher who:
• is an excellent recent Y5/6 classroom teacher with strong curriculum knowledge and experience of KS2 SATs
• is committed to high standards for all children including pupil attainment, progress and behaviour
• is able to work in partnership with other experienced teachers and is a good team player
• has the desire to nurture success, confidence and care in others
• has a passion for learning and a drive to build and improve their practice both now and in the future
• is well organised and has good time management skills
• is seeking an exciting opportunity to develop/further develop their leadership skills
• ideally has experience of successfully leading and developing curriculum areas
• will support the Headteacher in the development of strategic plans for the school and its community
• will play a role in helping to formulate and review school priorities, monitor the quality of teaching and learning and analyse pupil outcomes
• will play a role in the continued development of teaching and learning across the school.
• Ideally has a proven track record in impacting on whole school priorities
