CNC Machine Operator - Renfrewshire
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for their client based in Renfrewshire.
Job Type: Full-time
Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Pay: £16 - £18 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week over 4 days
Working Pattern has 2 options:
* Monday to Thursday - 07:15 to 16:30
* Tuesday to Friday - 07:15 to 16:30
Role Overview
Hands-on CNC role within a small batch, high-value manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machines, working to tight tolerances with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* Set and operate CNC machines
* Use Fanuc controls including live tooling
* Edit programs when required
* Read and work from technical drawings
* Produce components to tight tolerances
* Work to production targets
* Follow all health & safety procedures
Requirements* Previous CNC Operator / Turner experience (essential)
* Fanuc controls with live tooling experience
* Setting experience without supervision
* Program editing experience
* HAAS experience desirable
* Able to work independently
