Crynodeb
Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College are looking for a practical and adaptable Estates Technician to support the maintenance and smooth running of our college sites.
The Role
As part of the Estates team, you’ll help keep our buildings and grounds safe, clean, and welcoming. Duties include:
General maintenance and repairs (basic plumbing, minor construction, electrical, furniture).
Painting, decorating, and ensuring site presentation.
Grounds work and cleaning support when needed.
Caretaking tasks (opening/closing buildings, alarms, site security).
Driving between sites, supplier visits, and occasional cover driving a minibus.
Cleaning cover during staff absence or busy periods.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Skilled in general repairs and maintenance.
Flexible, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
A good communicator with a friendly, approachable manner.
Holder of a full UK driving licence (Category D essential).
Desirable experience/skills: trade qualifications, Health & Safety training, use of maintenance/grounds equipment, and experience in education or the public sector.
