After School PlayworkerWe are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable After School Playworker to join our team and help provide high‑quality wraparound care for our pupils. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and can create a positive, engaging environment at the end of the school day.About the RoleThe successful candidate will support the delivery of creative, stimulating, and age‑appropriate play opportunities in a safe and nurturing setting. You will help children feel welcomed, supervised, and encouraged as they relax, play, and socialise after school.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment for all childrenPlan and lead engaging play activities that promote creativity, cooperation, and confidenceSupervise children at all times to ensure their safety and wellbeingEncourage positive behaviour and model respectful interactionsSupport children’s social and emotional developmentSet up and tidy away resources, maintaining a clean and organised spaceFollow safeguarding, health, and safety procedures at all timesAbout YouFriendly, patient, and child‑centredConfident supervising groups of childrenAble to communicate clearly with pupils, colleagues, and parentsReliable, organised, and proactiveExperience working with children (school, childcare, youth work, or similar) is desirable but not essentialHours & PayPart‑time, term‑time onlyTypical hours: after school, Monday–FridayCompetitive hourly rate
