You will be a registered health professional with experience in the field of and working with people with a learning disability. You will have experience in self-directed management of your work load. This is a band 6 role and you should be able to be autonomous in your role to manage. Supervision and support is available to help you to manage this and we have regular supervision and annual personal development meetings that can help you to develop these skills further.Demonstrate sound, evidence-based health/clinical expertise to initiate direct and indirect care work of learning disability service users health needs.Demonstrates experience of evidence-based practice with specific client groups, including autistic spectrum, dementia, challenging behaviour, communication problems, and clients with sensory needs.Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, written communication and high standards of record keeping. Can use computer software to support record keeping and communication.Create, lead and deliver specific training package(s) internally/externally to the Trust. Working hours to be normal office hours 9am 5pm but variable working arrangements over 7 day week may be necessary on occasions to complete ongoing client work, attend events to fit in with the needs of the service.
