7.5t Multi Drop Driver - Howden DN14
Pay: £16.32 / hour including advanced holiday pay (Weekly pay, PAYE only)
Hours: Full-Time, Mon - Fri, 08:00 - 18:00
Join Gi Group and work with one of the UKs leading parcel delivery companies. Out client provides domestic and international deliveries for high-volume business customers.
Your Responsibilities as a 7.5t Driver
1. Perform scheduled deliveries and collections of shipments of varying weights, sizes, and shapes.
2. Complete multiple deliveries and collections efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met.
3. Complete daily vehicle safety checks and ensure safe loading/securing of the vehicle.
4. Report any maintenance defects promptly.
5. Adhere to Tachograph & Working Time Directive legislative/regulations and maintain compliance with EU Drivers Hours Regulations.
6. Sort and prioritize workload (including multiple route sorting) to meet delivery time commitments.
7. Ensure correct completion of DHL/Customer data and documentation (airway bills, JD numbers, HUID numbers, postcodes, etc.).
8. Follow company driving standards, including fuel efficiency and telematics training.
9. Work collaboratively with the service centre team to deliver expected results.
10. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and professionalism during deliveries.
What you'll need as a 7.5t Driver
1. A full, valid UK driver's licence.
2. Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
3. Aged 21 or over.
4. Valid CPC card held for at least 2 years.
5. Digi Tacho card held for at least 2 years.
6. DBS check required
7. 5 years of work / education history
