Main Purpose of the Job
Reporting to our Contracts Manager the full time, permanent role incorporates administration functions to support the vehicle procurement process for our clients. Approximately 2,500 -3,000 vehicles a year need to be ordered from a vehicle manufacturer / dealer, its progress monitored and then delivered to our clients to use on a long-term contract. All administration surrounding the order, delivery and post-delivery process form part of this role.
Full, in-house training will be provided. The successful applicant must be highly motivated, organised and have excellent attention to detail and thrive in a team environment.

Main Duties
- Supporting the Procurement team with all administrative functions associated with the purchase and delivery of new vehicles to public and private sector clients
- Liaising with vehicle suppliers and clients all across the UK
- Ensuring order and delivery process is complete and accurate for all parties, including checking invoicing and delivery documentation
- Using bespoke systems to manage an order process
- Dealing with any issues which arise during the vehicle delivery process
Required Aptitude, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail
- Motivated in achieving high levels of customer service
- Strong communicator with confident telephone manner and excellent written skills
- Interest in learning and using multiple software systems
- Flexible, helpful, approachable, adaptable, reliable - this role will liaise with all other teams within Day's Fleet
- Highly organised with ability to multitask
- Ability to communicate and connect with colleagues, customers, suppliers and management and take direction but also use initiative when required
- Work well within a small team whilst also being self-motivated to work independently
- Reacting to workload and using initiative to manage several tasks at once
- Be numerate when working with business tasks
- A knowledge and interest in vehicles is desirable but not essential
