Temporary Finance Administrator (Entry Level)
Location: Manchester
Pay Rate: £13.13 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (1 hour lunch)
Contract: Initial 3‑month temporary contract with strong potential to go permanent
Work Pattern: Fully onsite during training, with potential for hybrid working after the training period
We are currently recruiting a Finance Administrator to join a brilliant and well‑established financial services company based in Manchester. We are open to graduates or candidates with finance administrative/ administrative or some office experience who are keen to build a strong foundation in finance and administration.
Key responsibilities- Supporting the finance team with day‑to‑day administrative duties
- Support with invoices, expenses, and basic financial documentation
- Accurate data entry and maintenance of internal systems
- Answering inbound calls and handling queries in a professional manner
- Making outbound calls as required to follow up on information or payments
- Managing general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and correspondence
- Assisting with ad‑hoc tasks to support the wider office and finance function
- Previous finance administrative/administrative experience is advantageous but not essential
- An interest in finance or financial services
- Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Full‑time hours in a professional office environment
- Initial 3‑month temporary role with strong potential to become permanent
