ROLE DESCRIPTION
Newcastle College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Hair, beauty and Makeup Department. The successful applicant will provide high quality support within the curriculum area including salons, studios and across the commercial spaces. The candidate will conduct working activities in specialist areas and with specialist techniques to ensure their safe use.
The specialist technician role co-ordinates the preparation, and replenishment of resources utilised within college facilities and ensure the effective operation of the hair, beauty and makeup curriculum throughout the academic year. Additionally, the candidate will work and report to the resource coordinator, to upkeep the maintenance of department facilities, in line with health and safety requirements and carry out activities on the implementation and adherence to specific industry requirements within the department.
