GCIL.DS/EM/1.26Female Personal Assistant Required
DS is a cheerful and determined 11-year-old girl who loves animals and going to her clubs and activities. DS is looking for a female personal assistant to help live life to the fullest. DS has autism with learning difficulties and communicates non-verbally.
You’ll be supporting DS within her home with aspects of personal care, meal preparation and light housework. Your role will also include supporting DS in the community with activities such as cinema, zoo, horse riding, dance class, walks and swimming.
This role is based in Glasgow Southside so it’s important you can travel to and from the area reliably.
You’ll be working 10 hours per week during term time, with an additional 10 hours per week during school holidays. This may be a mix of set hours and flexible time depending on DS’s needs that week.
The rate of pay is £13.60 per hour.
Experience supporting children with autism and/or learning difficulties is a bonus, but not essential. What we’re looking for is someone who has a calm nature but also fun and able to support DS in a person-centred way.
If you’re someone who is patient, enjoys being active, and likes making a positive difference, you could be a great fit!
A valid clean driving license is required to help with transport and must be comfortable around pets. PVG certificate required.
For more information or to apply, reach out to us on details below. We can’t wait to hear from you!
