Finance AssistantSalary: £30,000 - £34,000 Location: Newbury (Office-based for first 3 months, then 1 day WFH per week)About the Role: We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join a leading law firm. While legal cashier experience is not essential, prior experience as a Finance Assistant within a law firm is essential. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and develop your finance skills within the legal sector.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations accurately and on time.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve financial queries.
  • Assist with client account management in line with SRA regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Finance Assistant, within a law firm or legal environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
