Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Parts Delivery Administrator to join our team at our Operation Centre in Skelmersdale, WN8 9SU.

As a Parts Delivery Administrator you will provide administrative and operational support to the Parts Delivery team, ensuring accurate processing of orders, effective communication with drivers, and smooth coordination of daily delivery activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process delivery paperwork, orders, and system updates accurately
  • Support the coordination of daily parts deliveries and driver communication
  • Handle contingency driver duties when required
  • Complete admin for drivers, including matching invoices to delivery runs
  • Carry out bay sweeps to maintain an organised dispatch area
  • Identify any missed orders, highlight issues, and assist in replanning
  • Move parts from QC to dispatch areas to ensure they are ready for drivers to pack
  • Assist with vehicle loading, including heavier items such as engines
  • Operate a forklift (FLT) safely to support loading and stock movement
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide clear updates on delivery status
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider delivery team

What we are looking for:

Essential:

  • Strong administrative experience, ideally within logistics, transport, or automotive environments
  • Confident using computer systems and data entry software
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of automotive parts
  • Experience working in delivery or distribution operations
  • FLT licence (or willingness to be trained)
