We are working closely alongside with a local authority in Charnwood to assist with the appointment of a Lifeline Control Operator on a 3-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £13.90- £18.08 per hour

Summary:
The Lifeline Control Operator provides essential emergency support to elderly and vulnerable adults, enabling them to maintain independent living. As an integral part of the Landlord Services team, the role involves responding to emergency alarm activations and coordinating swift assistance from emergency services, next-of-kin, or Call-out Officers. Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the role also serves as a front-line point of contact for emergency repairs and urgent situations such as fires, floods, or anti-social behavior
Responsibilities:
Respond to all alarm activations and calls in a polite, courteous manner within target times, deciding on the most appropriate type of assistance required.
Liaise with family members, emergency services, Social Services, utility suppliers, and Emergency Call-out Officers to resolve customer issues
Act as the point of contact for emergency repair requests from CBC tenants and other housing providers outside of standard business hours.
Prepare clear, concise reports regarding serious incidents for the Team Leader in accordance with established procedures
Deliver services fairly and without discrimination, complying with Data Protection legislation and all Charnwood Borough Council policies.
Essentials:
Proven ability to provide a high standard of customer care and guidance, particularly when dealing with vulnerable individuals in stressful situations.
Experience in assessing complex situations and making quick, informed decisions regarding emergency support and resource allocation
Ability to use emergency alarm systems, door entry technology, and disaster recovery equipment.
