Millfield School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our vibrant medical centre for a one-year maternity cover position. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who enjoys making a real difference in the lives of young people in a dynamic, supportive school environment.
We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated, empathetic, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a relevant nursing qualification.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
• Providing Nursing care to all at the when required treatment for general minor injuries,
• Supporting and assisting in providing healthcare of all pupils.
• Health surveillance and health promotion
• Keeping on top of all medical reporting, including ensuring that all pupil records are complete and up to date.
This is a one-year fixed-term position, working the following hours during term time:
• Tuesday: 7.45am – 7.15pm
• Wednesday: 12pm – 7.15pm
• Friday: 1pm – 7.15pm
• Alternate weekends (Saturday or Sunday on a rota): 7.45am – 7.15pm
