Summary
The post is offered at 10 PA's The Consultants work to a standard clinic template, with 6 new and 4 follow up patients per general clinic and 10 patients per cystoscopy clinic. The Trusts theatre utilisation target is 85% with an expected 2.7 average urology cases per session The successful candidate will undertake a full and equal part in the provision of the out of hours on-call service at Leighton Hospital with colleagues on a 1:5 rota including prospective cover, and is required to ensure that reliable arrangements are in place to allow staff to contact them in emergency situations. In addition the Consultant will be required to work with colleagues to provide cover in the absence of others both by reciprocal prospective cover for immediate colleagues approved leave and occasional additional duties in the event of unforeseen circumstances in accordance with Divisional arrangements.
