Crynodeb
The Trust and the Haematology department are committed to supporting the development of every consultant. The Trust offers a well-reviewed new consultant mentoring scheme, and this role offers the opportunity to take on additional developmental and leadership opportunities. There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to lead on the development of specific areas of interest. Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is an active member of the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts (WYAAT). The haematology department work closely with colleagues from the Tertiary Cancer Centre at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, in particular, contributing to an ongoing WYAAT-led programme of service improvement work for haematology.
