The Consultant in Emergency Medicine will work as a senior clinical leader within the Emergency Department, contributing to high-quality patient care, team development and service improvement. Key responsibilities include: Providing safe, effective and patient-centred emergency care Maintaining professional standards and GMC specialist registration Supporting and supervising junior doctors, fostering a positive learning culture Participating in audit, governance, quality improvement and incident review Working collaboratively with nursing, managerial and specialty colleagues Contributing to service planning, transformation and strategic objectives The post holder is expected to demonstrate the Trusts values in everyday practice: beingkindin interactions with patients and colleagues,collaborativein multidisciplinary working,expertin clinical practice and decision-making, andaspirationalin driving improvement and innovation.
