Crynodeb
The main responsibilities of the role include Deliver a high standard of patient care, using advanced autonomous clinical skills, and a broad and in-depth theoretical knowledge base. Assess, diagnose and treat patients conditions, initiating direct referrals as appropriate. Manage acute illnesses, long-term conditions, and minor ailments. As an independent prescriber: prescribe safe, effective and appropriate medication as defined by current legislative framework (independent prescriber qualification required). Work within the triage system and urgent care services within the practice. Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Promote health and well-being through the use of health promotion, health education, screening and therapeutic communication skills.
