I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established main contractor based in Kent, who are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced minor works Estimator.
This is a great opportunity to join a busy and reputable contractor delivering a steady pipeline of minor works projects across a range of sectors. The role would suit an estimator who enjoys managing multiple tenders, working closely with delivery teams, and playing a key role in securing repeat business.
The Role:

Preparing accurate cost estimates for minor works projects

Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes of work

Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotes

Identifying value engineering opportunities

Working closely with project managers and commercial teams

Assisting with tender submissions and negotiations
About You:

Previous experience as an Estimator, ideally within minor works or small projects

Background working for a main contractor

Strong understanding of construction pricing and procurement

Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tenders at once

Confident communicator with a proactive approach
