As our Business Services Coordinator working at Winchester City Mill, you’ll be responsible for maintenance of health, safety and security compliance actions and records to National Trust standards, finance reporting and the day-to-day management of contracts relating to the building's utilities. The role a permanent contract at 22.5 hours per week over three days, ideally Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with weekend day twice a month. The role involves duty management and some lone working. Staff of City Mill can use the staff car park on-site.

Winchester City Mill forms part of a wider portfolio of properties including Hinton Ampner and Uppark. Whilst this role is based at the Mill, the Facilities and Support Services team spreads across the whole portfolio, working to keep our buildings and facilities safe and compliant and our business operations running efficiently.
Reporting to our Facilities & Support Services Manager, at the Mill you’ll be working alongside our Mill operations Manager, Volunteers, Café team and Visitor Experience team on the presentation and operation of the site.
You’ll be working with external contractors to help us to keep our properties well maintained. As a member of duty management at the Mill, you’ll be helping to keep our visitors safe and happy.
There are plenty of opportunities to develop your skills through National Trust training courses.
What you'll be doing
Day to day, you'll be coordinating finance reporting, soft facilities management (security, fire, cleaning and waste contracts) ensuring equipment is maintained and waste kept to a minimum.
You'll be arranging minor plumbing and electrical repairs with our approved contractors, data management and maintaining business systems for compliance and finance.
You'll support the sites with coaching and guidance as a sophisticated business systems user.

Able to work as part of a team, but also on your own initiative
