Primary Role
Provide carpentry skills and support to the Building Supervisor & Team, Construction Director and the Contracts Team
To assist with timber frame building & roof erection
To assist with 1st fix carpentry tasks
To assist 2nd fix carpentry tasks
Provide back-up/cover when necessary for other roles within the Building & Contracts Team
Daily Tasks
Setting out of soleplates, studwork, openings, structural members
Erection and fixing of timber wall, partition and roof components
Cutting and shaping of timber components
Forming openings and hanging doors
Other duties as requested to support the Building Team
Liaison and Communication
Build and maintain good working relationships with site-based Origin colleagues
Build and maintain good working relationships with all Origin staff and trusted sub-contractors
General
To assist in other matters as requested.
Act in the best interests of Origin Leisure at all times.
Reporting to:
The Building Supervisor & The Directors or another Manager if nominated by the management team
