Lunchtime Play Team MemberPermanent, Part-Time (8.75hrs per week), Term-Time Only (39 Weeks)Scale 1, Point 2 - 3: £24,413 - £24,796 (Actual Salary: £5,021.50 - £5,100.28)Starting Date - ASAP Chellaston Infant and Junior Schools are two large schools catering for pupils between the ages of 4 and 11. We are looking to recruit 2 Play Team members to support play and activity during our lunchtimes in both the infant and junior site. We hold the Platinum Award for OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) and we are looking for enthusiastic, patient and creative individuals who are passionate about ensuring that children are given the best opportunities to play and explore. Working as a member of the play team, you will ensure that all our children have meaningful lunchtime play every day. You will work as a member of the play team to create a safe and stimulating outdoor environment providing social, active and creative play experiences for all. The play team is also responsible for ensuring that all our children have a pleasant eating experience at lunch time, whilst maximising the time they can spend outside playing. You will support all our children as they visit the dining hall and are responsible for clearing and cleaning the hall to a state ready for use (eg for PE, school assemblies) in the afternoon. You will need to be available to work over the lunchtime period, Monday to Friday during term time. Successful candidates could be deployed over either site (Infant or Junior).
