Knowledge of Infectious Diseases or a willingness to gain an understanding into this specialised area is essential. Excellent communication skills are essential, and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate and sustain new and innovative ways of working which facilitate developments in nursing practice.

You will be supported in the role by the Matron and a team of senior nursing staff on the wards. This post provides an excellent career opportunity for someone who is clinically credible but wishes to further develop management and leadership skills.

After years of collaboration, our two Trusts became a hospitals group in 2021. While remaining as two separate Trusts, being a hospitals group will help us to collaborate more closely on research, and the development, education, and training of our 17,000-strong workforce.
