Our client, a respected educational institution in the heart of Durham, County Durham, is seeking a talented and dedicated Part-time QTS / HLTA Tutor to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our students.

As a Part-time QTS / HLTA Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting our students' academic and personal growth, working closely with our client's team of dedicated educators to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one or small group tutoring in a variety of subjects, tailoring your approach to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student
- Collaborating with our client's teaching staff to develop and implement effective lesson plans and learning strategies
- Monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback, and adjusting your teaching methods accordingly
- Maintaining detailed records of student performance and attendance
- Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong educational background, including a recognised teaching qualification such as QTS or HLTA, as well as a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a tutor or teacher in a similar setting. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build positive relationships with students and their families, and a genuine passion for education and making a difference.

Our client is offering a competitive salary of £25 - £30 per hour for this part-time position, with the potential for additional hours and career advancement opportunities. The role will be based in Durham, County Durham, and you will be expected to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of our students.
