We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our friendly and supportive early years team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate childcare professional who is ready to take the next step in their career or who already has leadership experience within an early years setting.

About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and development for all children. You will lead, inspire, and support your team while creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a room team effectively

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS

Support staff development through mentoring and guidance

Monitor children’s progress and maintain accurate records

Build strong relationships with parents and carers

Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times

Requirements

Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher (essential)

Proven leadership or room leader experience within a nursery setting

Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A positive, proactive, and caring approach
