We are currently recruiting for a PTS Ambulance Care Assistant for York Ambulance station for a full time, permanent role who share a value and belief in delivering the highest standards of quality service and patient care.

* Training Courses are full time, Mon- Fri for 4 weeks, full attendance is required.

Please note: you must have a full UK manual driving licence to apply for this role.

Responsible for the care and safe transportation of non-emergency PTS patients.

Ensuring timely transportation to and from appointments at hospitals, treatment centres, day units or other places of care.

At all times the post holder must ensure patient safety and reduction in harm to patients, self, colleagues, and others by assessing risks and adopting safe working practices.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) NHS Trust geographically covers nearly 6,000 square miles of varied terrain, from isolated moors and dales to urban areas, coastline and inner cities.
