My client is on the lookout for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.
This is a key position, carrying out planned PPM across multiple site locations. This will include some periods supporting operational delivery in response to reactive maintenance, mainly during the summer months and peak trading times.
Key Responsibilities – Refrigeration Engineer
• To ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
• Complete reactive work to agreed timescales and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
• Identify non-repairable faults promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacements.
• Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date.
• Requirement to participate on an out of hours standby rota - minimum of 4 x standby period annually. Responsible for arranging & communication of any cover required due to holidays/ unforeseen circumstances to line manager.
Qualifications & Experience – Refrigeration Engineer
• NVQ/C&G Refrigeration
• Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB certificate
• Time Served Apprenticeship
On Offer – Refrigeration Engineer
• £43,874.79(salary including standby 1:4)
• 42.5 hours per week
• 25 days + 8 bank holidays
• Travel time after ½ hour each way
• Van, fuel card, tools, uniform, IT equipment provided
