Title: Media & Content Manager

Reports to: Senior Marketing, Media & Communications Lead

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday

Salary: Grade Range Grade 3, £35,711- £38,622 (5% employer pension contribution, Medicash and group life assurance, 27 days annual leave per annum for FTE plus bank holidays)

Location: Contractually based from our Liverpool office, with some flexibility to work from home, subject to business requirements and line manager approval. Travel across UK as required.

Key Responsibilities

The core objectives of the role include, but are not limited to:

Media & Content

- Attend and travel to programme communities to capture high quality images and film.
- Design engaging and accessible visuals for digital and print platforms, using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva.
- Maintain and update digital and visual content on our website.
- Manage social media planning & content across all platforms and internal requests.
- Produce high-quality video and audio content that showcases our work and impact.
- Manage external videographers and supplier relationships for large scale projects
- Manage all digital and film assets, ensuring proper organisation and consent compliance.
- Keep our Digital Asset Management processes and systems updated for seamless access and use.
- Work with our PR and Marketing colleagues to create excellent visual narrative packages for press and partners both regionally and nationally.
- Collaborate across programme and core departments, bringing ideas to life through innovative content and developing new platforms such as Podcasts.
- Manage stakeholder relationships both internally and with external partners.
- Ensure all photographic and film permissions are recorded and kept up to date inline with GDPR standards.
- Create content for impact reports and organisation reporting to multiple external stakeholders.

What You Will Need to be Successful

You will need previous experience in videography, photography and graphic design with a strong background in relationship building across multiple key audiences, and new media outlets.

It is key that you have a broad-ranging skill set across content creation, from using your images to design leaflets and collateral to filming key stakeholder events and interviews, creating case studies and raising the profile of our brand, and our programme across social media and developing new channels to raise our profile.

You will have excellent visual and audio storytelling skills and be able to adapt narratives to our diverse community and funding audiences. You will be a proactive and creative individual, highly organised with excellent communication skills.

Who we’re looking for

Experience (essential)
- Proven working experience in videography, photography, podcasting or content creation
- Experience in video and audio editing
- Visual effects knowledge
- Creativity and Storytelling - Ability to create visually appealing and engaging video content that tells a story effectively and frames our communities positively.
- Ability to adapt existing and long-form content to suit different audiences and objectives across digital and social media platforms.

Experience (desirable)
- Minimum 5 years experience in a photography, videography or content creation role
- Full Clean UK Driving License

Skills (essential)
- Exceptional photography, videography and editing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Proficient use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)

Qualifications (desirable)
- BA/MA Media Production, Film & Broadcast production. or related field.
