Beavis Morgan, a HAT member firm, is recruiting a personal tax trainee to join their team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical workplace experience while earning your ATT qualification, with paid study time and support from a leading tuition provider.
About the Role
You'll join Beavis Morgan's stable personal tax department on a fixed-term training contract, working alongside experienced tax managers and gaining exposure to a diverse client base. While prior personal tax experience is ideal, they're looking for motivated individuals committed to developing expertise in this field.
Your Responsibilities

Supporting tax managers in delivering tax returns and client advice
Preparing personal tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships for review
Liaising with HMRC regarding client queries and information requests
Managing PAYE coding matters, NI deferment forms, and other relevant documentation
Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
Essential Requirements

A-Levels or equivalent (grades A*-C) with GCSEs in Maths and English (grade C or above)
Some office experience
Commitment to studying for and achieving the ATT qualification
First-class client service skills and strong teamwork abilities
Proactive, driven approach with a genuine willingness to learn
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
