Start Date: April/May 2026The children, staff, and governors of The Newlands Federation are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Assistant to join our Early Years team at Shere Infant School. This role is to support a child who will be joining our nursery after Easter. About Shere School:
Nestled in the picturesque village of Shere, in the heart of the Surrey Hills, Shere School offers a unique and inspiring environment for both teaching and learning. We are a small, nurturing school where our holistic and ambitious curriculum is delivered through engaging pedagogies such as play, storytelling, the arts, nature, dialogue, and games. This approach supports the natural development of children, fosters their mental health, and cultivates their curiosity and independence.
We are searching for a passionate and imaginative Early Years Assistant who:Has a genuine love for early years education
Thrives on using their initiative and being resourceful
Brings creativity and a sense of fun to their work
Enjoys being part of a close-knit team and has a good sense of humour
Is eager to take on challenges with a positive attitude
