Do you have experience with speech and hearing technologies and enjoy teaching? We have an exciting opportunity in the School of Computer Science for someone with a passion for teaching who is looking to hone and use their academic and practical skills to make an impact on the next generation of computer scientists interested in ways speech can be processed by computers and technologies it can create.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and motivated individual to join our team and lead the development of teaching and learning activities for speech-related subjects taught in the School of Computer Science.
In this role, you will gain hands-on teaching experience by analysing, simplifying, and creating teaching and learning materials; delivering teaching to a broad cohort of students; and assessing learning. You will work alongside Dr Anton Ragni, who will lead this project.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to build early teaching experience, develop a track record of creating teaching and learning materials and delivering teaching. It is particularly well-suited for students who are currently pursuing a PhD or an academic career after graduation.
The University of Sheffield is a remarkable place to work. Our people are at the heart of everything we do. Their diverse backgrounds, abilities and beliefs make Sheffield a world-class university.
