Workshop Assistant
Our client is a well-established manufacturer of high-quality industrial cylinders, is currently seeking a Workshop Assistant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with engineering experience or an engineering-related background who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive manufacturing environment.
The Role
As a Workshop Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operations of the workshop, assisting with the assembly, preparation, and handling of manufactured components. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone eager to learn and progress.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of cylinders
• Supporting workshop engineers with daily tasks
• Handling tools, components, and materials safely
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Following engineering drawings and instructions
About You
• Some engineering experience or an engineering-related background (essential)
• A practical, hands-on approach to work
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Good attention to detail and reliability
• Able to work well as part of a team
