We’re looking for a compassionate, proactive Support Worker to join our team in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. In this role, you’ll provide person-centred care to semi-independent adults with varying support needs, helping them maintain independence and achieve personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver tailored care and support to individuals in a supported living environment
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and skill development
• Administer medication safely following care plans
• Apply Moving & Handling techniques safely
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation
• Promote independence, dignity, and choice
Requirements:
• Experience in supported living, residential care, or similar settings
• Confident working independently and in a team
• Medication administration and Moving & Handling experience (essential)
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a caring approach
