The Role – Graduate SEN Tutor

As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll help pupils thrive both socially and academically. You may deliver one-to-one support for children with additional needs or lead small groups to build confidence, social skills, and resilience.

This role offers valuable, real-world insight into how psychological approaches are applied in education, providing excellent preparation for further study or careers related to SEN, behaviour or mental health.

The school is looking for a calm, compassionate, and proactive graduate with a genuine interest in supporting young learners. Strong communication, teamwork and empathy are essential.

What’s on Offer

• Full-time Graduate SEN Tutor role (Monday-Friday, term time only) - Hours 8:30am to 3:30pm
• Up to £450 per week salary

Ideal Candidate – Graduate SEN Tutor

• Degree in a Social Science, Psychology or Education is preferable, but we are open to other academic qualifications (2:2 minimum)
• Enthusiastic about helping young people learn and progress
• Some experience working with young people is preferable
• Strong communicator with good communication skills & empathetic nature
• Professional, committed, and proactive
• Must have the right to work in the UK
