Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Pupil Referral Unit, Kidderminster Contract: Full Time Salary: Dependant on Experience About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a PRU in Kidderminster, supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities who require a nurturing, structured, and consistent learning environment.

This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people who may display social, emotional, and behavioural needs alongside additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to access learning and achieve individual targets

Assist in managing behaviour positively, using de-escalation and trauma-informed approaches

Work closely with teachers, SENDCo, and pastoral staff to implement individual education and behaviour plans
