Summary

We are currently seeking Tutors to join us to work on EOTAS provisions. If you are a SEND-experienced, compassionate educator with expertise in the essential core subjects, we would like to hear from you.

You will be responsible for creating a bespoke curriculum with a student-led approach. As part of this education, you will shape the curriculum to incorporate students' interests, strengths, and support needs. Your goal will be to deliver a tailored curriculum, allowing the student to work within a low-demand, enjoyable environment to ignite their passion for learning.

Your Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging, one-to-one tuition sessions which fall during standard school hours (ranging from 09:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday only) Please note, tuition will take place Adhoc based on the needs of the provision, but candidates should be available during this time.
- Design and deliver personalised lessons in particularly in core subjects, however an ideal candidate will also be able to offer an extended curriculum in humanities, or social sciences
- Implement therapeutic and innovative approaches aligned with neurodivergent learning styles
- Collaborate closely with therapists, parents, carers, and case workers as part of a holistic support network
- Monitor and report on academic and therapeutic progress through clear written and verbal communication
- Offer a reliable, empathetic presence that supports both educational and therapeutic development

What we are looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience at KS3/4 level
- Solid understanding of neurodivergent learners, with experience in low-demand or trauma-informed approaches
- Background in alternative education settings, such as EOTAS, PRUs, or specialist provision
- Skilled at aligning lessons with EHCP outcomes and adapting methods to meet individual needs

Essential criteria:
- You must hold a degree (BA/BSc) within one of the following subjects: STEM, Humanities, or Social Sciences
- You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- You must have a student-led approach to education, with the ability to adapt to the student's needs
- To hold an Enhanced DBS certificate which is registered on the DBS Update Service
- At a minimum, you must hold a Level 1 (or higher) Safeguarding certificate (Qualification may be gained as part of the onboarding process, if successful)
