At Macclesfield Supported Living Network, we are passionate about empowering people to live independently in their own homes within Warwick Mews—a vibrant community of bungalows and flats designed to offer comfort and connection.

Join our team as a Community Support Worker! We have two full-time positions (35 hours each) supporting adults to live independently. You will provide person-centred care, assist with daily living tasks, and help maintain social connections, making a real difference in people’s lives. The right candidate will need to be flexible with working hours on a rota and hold a valid licence to drive fleet vehicles for tenant support across the borough.
About the Role:
• Support service users with personal care such as washing, dressing, and meals.
• Administer non-invasive medication and maintain accurate care records.
• Contribute to care planning and act as a key worker when required.
• Help service users stay connected with family, friends, and their community.
• Carry out domestic tasks and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Respond to situations that may affect safety, following procedures and reporting to senior staff.
• Participate in social activities and promote independence.

About you:
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to converse in accurate spoken English.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid licence to drive fleet vehicles for tenant support across the borough.
• Commitment to learning and development.
Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Social Care and knowledge of safeguarding, safer handling, and first aid.
