This Job description is an outline which reflects the present requirements of the post and is not intended to be exhaustive list of duties the post holder will be expected to fulfil. To assess, implement and monitor individual care plans for our clients To involve patients and carers in the development and delivery of goals within the care plan To take the lead on the unit as and to provide clinical leadership, support and guidance to other team members To act upon and escalate issues as required following STEPS guidance and operating procedures To administer medications and treatment as prescribed, monitor effects and report as defined To be compliant with the clinical governance requirements operating within STEPS procedures To be involved in clinical audits as and when directed Carrying out all procedures relating to the personal care and nutritional needs of patients dealing with emergencies as required. To undertake duties and responsibilities as defined in the work plan. To honour STEPS values by demonstrating appropriate behaviours and encouraging this in others To facilitate and co-ordinate the activities of the team To have responsibility and accountability for the overall quality of client care delivery including meetings and reviews
