Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled ADR Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent communication with both clients and team members.
Duties
Operate the van in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, demonstrating mechanical knowledge as needed.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the van, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Requirements
Valid ADR and driving licence with relevant endorsements.
Proven experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for vehicle operation.
