About the role

As a Service Facilities Coordinator (Car Parks), you’ll play a key role within our Business Support team, overseeing car park operations across both our large and convenience stores. Your focus will be on creating a seamless experience for customers by ensuring they can easily access the parking spaces that best meet their needs.

In this role, you will champion continuous improvement, support operational change, and take pride in maintaining a high standard of service across all sites. You’ll build strong relationships, drive consistent performance, and uphold our commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience every day.

You will be responsible for

  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking and evaluating supplier performance, using insights and feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Supporting the monitoring of budgets and financial activity for service facilities to ensure efficient and cost‑effective operations.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Working closely with suppliers to strengthen car park operations and explore opportunities for innovative solutions.
  • Feedback: Gathering and acting on feedback from stores and customers to help enhance our car parks.
  • Communication: Managing car‑park-related communication and ensuring stores have timely, accurate, and relevant information.
  • Project Collaboration: Partnering with the property team to improve the overall offer for customers.
  • Operational Support: Collaborating with teams across the business to support the effective delivery of car park plans and maintain smooth day‑to‑day operations.
  • Change Implementation: Supporting the rollout of key change programmes and new propositions.
  • Training Material: Keeping training materials up to date, engaging, and helpful so colleagues can confidently deliver the right car park processes.
  • Project Leadership: Leading projects and trials, assessing and managing any operational impacts on stores.
  • Integrity and Compliance: Acting in line with the business code of conduct, demonstrating integrity, care, and due diligence in all aspects of the role.

Please note, store and supplier in person visits are required as part of this role

You will need

  • The ability to communicate clearly, sharing information and ideas in an effective and supportive way.
  • Confidence in engaging and influencing others to gain support for plans and improvements.
  • Strong organisational skills to plan and coordinate tasks and resources efficiently.
  • The ability to track progress, plan ahead, and manage your workload to meet deadlines.
  • Confidence in monitoring budgets and ensuring spending stays within agreed limits.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills to create and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Self‑motivation and the ability to work independently while staying focused and driven.
  • Basic computer skills, including using Excel for tracking data and budgets, and PowerPoint for preparing presentations.
  • A strong customer focus, using an understanding of customer needs to help improve their experience.
  • Experience in retail operations and/or managing suppliers and standards.
