TeacherActive Essex is currently recruiting passionate and qualified Nursery Practitioners to work within high-quality nursery settings across Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Stansted and Hertfordshire. This is a full-time role, working 5 days per week, with shifts between 8:00am and 6:00pm, offering flexibility around start and finish times.

We are working closely with a range of welcoming, well-established nurseries that are dedicated to providing outstanding early years education and care. This opportunity is ideal for a Nursery Practitioner who is looking for a stable, full-time position with flexibility and strong professional support.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will help plan and deliver engaging activities, promote positive behaviour and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for all children.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent)

  
  

• A good understanding of the EYFS framework

  
  

• Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or within an early years setting

  
  

• A caring, enthusiastic and patient approach

  
  

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

  
  

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare

  
  The role of Nursery Practitioner includes:

  • Full-time hours, 5 days per week

    
    

  • Working between 8:00am – 6:00pm (flexible shifts available)

    
    

  • Roles available across Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Stansted and Hertfordshire

    
    

  • Supporting children with learning, play, routines and personal care

    
    

  • Building strong relationships with children, parents and staff
