About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Press Brake Programmer / Setter / Operator to run our Amada HFE press brake as part of a busy fabrication shop.
This role suits someone who cares about accuracy, repeatability, and setting jobs up properly, not just getting parts off the machine.
You’ll be working from drawings, programming bends, setting tooling, and producing parts that make the next stage of fabrication easier.
The kind of work you’ll be doing:
Setting and operating Amada HFE 100-3 press brake
Programming bends from engineering drawings
Working with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
Producing accurate, consistent parts
Organising parts clearly for downstream processes
Carrying out basic machine checks and maintenance
Keeping the area safe, tidy, and organised
You’ll be trusted to manage your own work without constant supervision.
This role will suit you if you:
Have 2+ years’ experience operating press brakes
Are confident reading and working from drawings
Care about bend accuracy, tooling setup
